Athletics equipment – a wide range

Nordic Sport offers a broad range of athletics equipment and has supplied championships around the world. Our references page shows the events we have supplied and where we have been the main equipment supplier.

Athletics has roots in ancient Greece and has developed into the sport we know today. The first Swedish athletics championships were held in 1896 and have been organised annually since. Athletics includes running, race walking, jumping, throwing and combined events. Each discipline uses specialised equipment, which is why we offer a complete range.

Equipment for different levels

Nordic Sport offers equipment for beginners and elite athletes, from our own javelins and vaulting poles to high jump landing areas and throwing cages. Athletics offers opportunities to develop many skills. You can focus on your strengths or try different events. The pentathlon, heptathlon and decathlon combine different disciplines and require several types of equipment.

Athletics throughout the year

Athletics can be practised indoors and outdoors throughout the year. Sweden has several indoor athletics facilities for training and competition. With adaptations such as running distances, the same types of equipment are used in both environments. Storage solutions, equipment trolleys, bags and rain covers make transport and storage easier.
